AN AWARD WELL DESERVED

On May 9th 2009, the President of AfriGrowth Foundation Mrs. Dayo Keshi added another feather to her cap, as she was awarded with the African Women Advocacy Award by the Nigerian Women Leadership Council International in Washington DC, U.S.A.

The Award was in recognition of her extensive efforts towards women and Youth empowerment.

She has acquired the art of strengthening Communities by her selfless service in various organizations such as, African Women Association of Addis Ababa of which she was the vice President: the Commonwealth Women’s Club and International Women’s Club Brussels. She was the President of Consular Corps Women Club of Atlanta and prior to that she was the vice President Programs, of GEDE Foundation, in Washington DC. She also founded the Nigerian Women Association of Georgia (NWAG) USA.

The Award is an indication of the far reaching impact of the programmes and projects she has devoted her time and energy in the service of women and particularly Youths who are the future of our Nation, Nigeria.

It is indeed an honor well deserved.
